PRESS RELEASE

Antix and Green Button Collaborate to Deploy Native Games on Low Cost Connected TVs and STBs

– Shareable and Social games made available via Green Button’s interactive services –

Reading, UK, November 30th 2010 – Green Button and Antix Labs announce their partnership at Apps World 2010 to deliver high performance games services to consumers of low cost, Connected TVs and STBs.

Green Button is Barry Rubery’s vision for the shape of Connected TV in the UK. Capitalising on its leading edge consumer electronics expertise and open HbbTV standard, Green Button’s innovative Connected TV solution integrates a unique innovative Online Programme Guide (OPG), revenue generating App Store, and a range of intuitive viewer-friendly advanced functionalities as well as great media, sport and now games content.

Games played using Antix Labs’ native games player can be played, copied and shared by consumers across all their different devices such as TVs, STBs, tablets, phones and PCs. Its service has been designed into phones and TVs by top tier manufacturers while carriers in Asia and Europe are now requiring the Antix Game Player to be supported in carrier-bundled handsets.

Barry Rubery, also the co-founder and former CEO of Pace plc, the world’s leading set top box manufacturer, is adamant that the exponential growth of social games will turn games and gaming apps into a big deciding factor when viewers choose their Internet enabled Connected TVs.

“Consumers expect high quality games, even in low end devices so we needed highly efficient solutions and associated services across a broad range of processor architectures and operating systems which could only be delivered by Antix,” said Barry Rubery, Green Button’s Chairman and Founder. “Green Button is creating a truly ‘best in class’ set of services, exploiting its second-to-none knowledge of the TV and set top box market; we’re obviously thrilled with our partnership,” said Francis Charig, Chief Executive and founder of Antix Labs.

The first units with Green Button supporting the Antix Game Player will be arriving in the first half of 2011.

The Antix Game Service is being used as a core gaming component by major operators, broadcasters, device manufacturers and retailers across the globe.
